The Agribusiness Department's Industry Advisory Council consists of leaders in agribusiness who willingly promote excellence in Cal Poly's Agribusiness Department. They advise us of current industry trends which we should be addressing in our curriculum, as well as criteria for employee selection commonly used by executives in their fields of expertise. They have also been an integral part of our fundraising campaign, an increasingly important component of state-financed higher education. Many of our members are Agribusiness alums, although we also have graduates of other departments or educational institutions who are committed to Cal Poly and want to assist us in defining our focus and future.
