The
Agribusiness Management Club has approximately
one hundred and fifty members this year. Their goal as
a club is to bring together students interested in an
Agribusiness Career and expose them to the different aspects
of the agribusiness industry. ABM sponsors educational
and social activities for their members as well as interested
students.
One of ABM's main educational activities is their annual
Speakers Forum, which is usually held in mid-February.
Some of the main social events include Santa's Round-Up
and operating the concession stand at Cal Poly rodeos
which are usually held mid-October and mid-April.
The ABM Club usually holds its meetings monthly on Wednesday
evenings at 7:00 p.m.; the meetings are preceded by a
BBQ which begins at 6:30 p.m. Signs showing location and
agenda are usually posted in the hallways of Building
10. The schedule will be posted here as soon as it is
available. The first meeting of the school year will include
a BBQ which begins at 6:15 p.m. Be sure to look for signs
in the hallway to find out more about this event.
