Distinguished Scholarship Awards Committee

Responsibilities:

The Distinguished Scholarship Awards Committee shall conduct the selection process in accordance with the special rules and procedures approved by the Executive Committee for judging potential candidates for the Distinguished Scholarship Awards.

Charges:

Ongoing charge of evaluating candidates and recipients for Distinguished Scholarship Award
Write procedures for Executive Committee approval by the end of fall quarter 2009

Meetings:

At least once per quarter.

Membership:

General Faculty representatives should include former recipients of the Distinguished Scholarship Award. Ex officio members shall be the Dean of Research and Graduate Programs and two ASI representatives—one undergraduate and one graduate student.
