Dr. Conway is an Emeritus Professor of Communication Studies who retired from full-time teaching in 2010. He served as chair of the Communication Studies Department from 2000-2007. While chair, he oversaw a number of major changes in the department, including revisions of the curriculum, expansion of the faculty, and the long-awaited name change to Communication Studies. As the senior member of the department, Dr. Conway has taught a wide variety of courses in the Communication Studies curriculum. His special interests are nonverbal communication, advertising, and gender differences in communication. He continues to teach in the Communication Studies Department on a part-time basis.
