Dr. Ausmus joined the department in 2001 after spending seven years on the faculty at the University of Northern Iowa, where he served as the coordinator of the Communication Studies program. His research work appears in a variety of regional and national scholarly journals, and he is the author of Wines and Wineries of the California Central Coast.
