Part-Time Lecturer Pool, 2012-13
Note: Appointments from the Part-Time Lecturer Pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term, and applicants must be available on very short notice.
The Mathematics Department is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers, from our local geographic area, with positions available as determined by need during the 2012-13 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching lower division mathematics courses.

The Department
The Mathematics Department offers classes ranging from Algebra I through graduate courses. There are approximately 150 sections of math classes each quarter with an average enrollment of 30 per class. The faculty consists of approximately 35 permanent faculty, 15 temporary (both full-time and part-time), and 15 graduate teaching associates. The Mathematics Department does not offer any courses in statistics or computer science. Applicants interested in teaching in those areas should contact the Statistics Department or the Computer Science Department.
