Our Mission
Hispanic Business Student Association is an
all-inclusive
organization geared toward the Hispanic commercial interest designed to
foster the advancement of Latinos in business, fortify the Latino commercial
interest, and unify and empower students to achieve their goals.
Furthermore, HBSA intends to forge a path that enlightens individuals
through its service, investment, and education. Through dedication to
our goals and a commitment to embracing diversity HBSA will propagate
cultural awareness to help enrich its constituents' experiences. HBSA
also serves as a liaison between students of Cal Poly and Hispanic Business
community.

HBSA is geared toward fostering and promoting fellowship, cooperation, and
affinity between
all students
within the Orfalea College of Business and practitioners by providing means
of communication between members of the local and national chapters and
members of the sponsoring professional chapter, and other student chapters.
Furthermore, HBSA motivates and strengthens interests of business within,
but not limited to, Hispanic students in Business Administration through
applying business skills, principles, theories, and concepts of business
practices.
HBSA helps expand student knowledge and awareness of Latino/Hispanic
culture, language, and History through a variety of programs and activities
