| Synopsis |
The sponsor supports programs that address both the health of individuals and the community. It adopts a broad definition of health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well being, transcending the mere absence of disease or illness. Accordingly, the Trust’s grant making in the health field considers the full range of health determinants, including lifestyle and health behaviors, the attributes of the social and physical environment that influence health status, as well as access to and utilization of health care services.
