The program aims to address the following points: Do the existing OECD test guidelines adequately assess the potential hazards posed by nanoparticles - both acute and chronic; Should the existing guidelines be revised to better understand health risks posed by nanoparticles; Are there some key endpoints used to assess the potential hazard of industrial chemicals which may be inappropriate for testing nanoparticles?

Clean energy includes electricity generation and efficient electric use technologies, component parts and systems.

The Newton International Fellowship scheme will select the very best early stage post-doctoral researchers from all over the world, and offer support for two years at UK research institutions. Fifty Newton Fellows will be appointed each year.
