The Jean Monnet Fellowship Programme at the Robert Schuman
Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS) provides a framework for
the pursuit of postdoctoral research without heavy teaching
obligations by academics in the early stages of their
professional career. |

among German, American, and/or Canadian scholars (Ph.D.
required) in the humanities, social sciences, economics, and
law. The sponsor provides EUR 45,000 (currently, about US$

be responsible for producing a thirty to forty page research
report. The research paper must be completed no later than six
months after award of
grant. |

specific project with New York State companies. Individual
awards will be for up to $750,000 and will be granted for a
maximum period of two

The sponsor invites outstanding faculty, independent
scholars, lawyers, and judges to apply for appointments as
fellows for the academic year 2007-2008. Successful candidates
will devote an academic year in residence at Princeton to
research, discussions, and scholarly collaboration on topics
broadly related to law and public affairs. Under exceptional
circumstances, applications for only one semester in residence
may be considered. The sponsor plans to name four general LAPA
Fellows, one Microsoft/LAPA Fellow with a specialty in
intellectual property and one University Center for Human
Values(UCHV)/LAPA Fellow with a specialty in normative
inquiry. Applicants to the program will be considered for all
of these fellowships. |
