The sponsor is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to participate in the development of a parameterization for boundary-layer clouds in general circulation models. The successful candidate will participate with a team of scientists in implementing and evaluating a new approach to parameterizing boundary-layer clouds based on sub-grid distributions of motion and moisture which govern cloud properties.
