Our program
The Biological Sciences Department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Microbiology, minors in Biology and Microbiology, and a Master of Science degree.
The department is housed in modern facilities equipped with up-to-date instrumentation and has an energetic and active faculty. Cal Poly's geographic setting offers unusual opportunities for studying representative plants and animals of both Northern and Southern California.
