Distinguished Scholarship Awards Committee

Responsibilities

The Distinguished Scholarship Awards Committee shall conduct the selection process in accordance with the special rules and procedures approved by the Executive Committee for judging potential candidates for the Distinguished Scholarship Award.

Charges
  • Review Academic Senate Constitution and Bylaws, online description of committees and membership, and any other relevant material on Academic Senate web site; report any changes or recommendations for changes in Fall 2008.
Meetings
At least once per quarter.
Membership

General faculty representatives should include former recipients of the Distinguished Scholarship Award. Ex officio members shall be the Dean of Research and Graduate Programs and two ASI representatives--one undergraduate and one graduate student.
